Good morning yall! Once again, Darius here to update everyone on our St. Lucie Mets.
In Game 2 of our series against the Palm Beach Cardinals it was a battle. We went back and fourth and just as I thought we were about to grab the win in the 9th, the Cards came back and tied it 5-5...
Off to extra innings we went. We drew a couple of walks and loaded the bases with two outs but unfortunately we couldn't execute. The Cardinals were also scoreless in the 10th. Now yall know our slogan… Ya Gotta Believe!
In the top of the 11th, Trey Snyder hit an RBI single, Nick Roselli hit an RBI ground-rule double, and Yohairo Cuevas drew a walk that resulted in a run.
The Cards managed to score one more run in the bottom of the 11th, but that’s where it ended.
Almost a four-hour game, but it was worth it! LGM!
